GENTS SECTION

The Club hosts many competitions for gentleman golfers. With over 50 qualifying competitions played at weekends and some mid-week, there is ample opportunity to establish and maintain your golfing handicap should you wish.

The Club enters both an A and B Team to compete in the South Lincolnshire Golf League. In 2016 Sleaford’s A Team were once again crowned League Champions. There is also a C Team in which any member can play regardless of handicap. The C Team provides a range of social matches and offers a great way to meet new people and play at other courses in our area.

All the gent’s competitions are shown in the on-line diary, and entry is normally through the PGA Professional’s Shop.  This provides you the member the flexibility to play at a time that suits you.

We fully recognise that competition golf may not be for everyone and you may simply want to play the game for itself and enjoy the camaraderie inherent in the game of golf.  There are a variety of informal “spin-ups” that meet during the week and at weekends who will only be too delighted to welcome new members into their fold.
